COLLEGE  FLY-INS

A College Fly-In Program is a program in which a college brings prospective students to their campus (aka a FREE trip to a college during your senior year) in order to visit the college and gain an interest in it. Colleges can appear differently online than they do in person, therefore fly-In programs are a good way for students to see whether or not they would fit in specific colleges. Fly-In Program applications are also good practice for students applying to college, as they serve as ‘mini college applications’. And most importantly, getting accepted or rejected from a fly-in program can also help students determine whether or not they would be admitted to that college.

Below are a list of all of the colleges and universities offering a fly-in program this year. Look at the ones for the colleges you are interested, but also take chances on ones you may have never heard of or thought about attending. Take advantage of the programs to get a feel for the schools, and please apply to as many as you would like. We have provided the college and the name of the program below, for you to search on the internet for more information regarding applications and deadlines. Check http://blog.collegegreenlight.com/blog/college-fly-in-diversity-programs/ for updates and specific dates on certain programs.
